Layout

Layout: Click on â€˜Layout’. Under the Layout section, you’ll find two options — Grid and Playlist. Basically, these two options control how your YouTube videos will appear on the page.

In this example, a Playlist is selected. However, you can choose either option based on your preference.

Playlist Position: It controls where the video list appears in the playlist layout — either beside or below the main video. It includes Vertical, Horizontal, and reverse direction options. In this example, Horizontal is selected.

However, you can choose any direction you prefer.

Playlist Icon: It lets you show or hide the playlist toggle icon that allows users to open or close the video list. Choose the icon that aligns with your desired style or purpose.

Step 2: Customize Your Video Feed

Select where your videos come from and how they are fetched.

Content

Source Type: It lets you choose where the videos come from, such as a single video, a playlist, or a channel. To do that, you will find two options: Username and Playlist ID.

In this example, Username is selected here. However, you can choose any option according to your preference.

Source type 06

Short Videos: This option filters and displays only YouTube videos that are shorts (typically under 60 seconds). You can either choose to enable or disable it according to your choice.

In this example, it is enabled here.

YouTube Username: It lets you enter the creator’s YouTube username to automatically fetch and display videos from their channel.

For example, since the YouTube Username is set to Animation Addons, it will display videos from the Animation Addons channel. After entering your YouTube channel name, the videos will appear on the right side of the Bricks Builder editor panel.

Max Results: This option lets you set the maximum number of videos to display from the selected source. Here it is set to 6, however, you can set any value based on your choice.

Order By: It lets you choose the order in which videos are displayed, such as by Publish Date, view count, or Relevance. For example, ‘Publish Date’ is selected here. However, you can choose any order based on your preference.

You can show or hide player controls and decide if the video should play automatically or on click.

Options

Video controls: Video Controls lets you show or hide the YouTube player controls like play, pause, volume, and full-screen buttons.

For example, the control is set to Enable here. However, you can choose either option based on your preference.

Video Display: This option allows the video to start playing automatically when the page loads. If you don’t want the video to autoplay, you can select None. In this example, Yes is selected.
